The SCSI DASM-DAC 16 is an intelligent 16-bit Digital-to-Analog Converter(DAC) subsystem capable of generating an arbitrary wave form based ondigital data downloaded from a Sun-4 or SPARCstation through the SCSIbus. The DASM-DAC 16 emulates a SCSI disk drive and can output up to a 80kHz signal. Applications include test equipment, speech synthesis, andcontrol systems.
